I’ve arrived at Holgate Meadows in my 31st year in Education. I have been in Leadership in both Mainstream and Special schools for 22 years. I spent 20 years in Mainstream secondary settings in Rochdale, Oldham and Leeds. Throughout that time, it was very apparent that mainstream school settings do not fulfil the emotional needs of some learners who need to be supported by a curriculum that meets their individual needs. Adele Hetherington Over the 8 years I have worked at Holgate Meadows I have held a variety of middle leadership roles including teaching and learning lead, key stage lead and careers lead while always being a form teacher and teaching a maths timetable, mainly in KS4. |

I have been working in schools, including various leadership roles, for over 15 years but my time at Holgate was very special to me. I am excited to be coming back and most of all looking forward to working with all our wonderful students. |
